Exhibition Guide 2017

New for 2018: we are delighted to present the XpoKit, a concept taking portability to a new level. It’s a reusable, modifiable exhibition stand ‘in a box’. It's specifically designed for single-person installs, so after a couple of practices in your office, you'll be good to go.
It’s professional enough to wow visitors, but small enough to fit in your car boot, light and easy enough for you to carry, install and dismantle. Back in the car for the next show.
XpoKit contains three Link2 banners for your seamless back-wall, a Lumos light tower with app-based transition controls and an Elegance2 lightweight counter. Your graphics for these elements are bespoke and interchangeable, ready for future campaigns and launches. The kit also includes a sturdy literature stand.
Of course, all these items are available separately from Rounded Edge, but the purpose of the XpoKit is to provide a great value solution with our expertise behind the curation of these complementary products. So we've thought long and hard about a solution for smaller events that offers the best balance of portability, reusability and value, whilst still nailing the all-important wow factor.
When we've discussed and estimated any artwork requirements, you'll get a quote for the kit that includes all the hardware, LED lighting for the three Link2 panels, a full set of the printed graphic panels and delivery to yourselves. We'll talk you through or even demonstrate in person the install and breakdown methods for each element of kit. Everything taken care of.
At Rounded Edge Studio, we have been innovating and offering portable solutions for small-to-medium exhibition spaces since our inception. It's kind of our bread and butter. We know that being able to easily get your hardware from the car park to your stand is important.
So when designing an exhibition kit, we have been very careful to check that box, despite the obvious increase in bulk caused by the addition of the accessories. Adding too many banner displays would take it over-weight. So would using some of our sturdier counters. And so would the moulded hard case that such a heavier system would necessitate.
We've played around with the combinations to find a manageable weight, and a manageable size for the final package too. So you won't need a van to transport the XpoKit from your office to the show. And you won't need a forklift to get it in and out of the exhibition hall.
The XpoKit exploits the interchangeable graphics capability of our Link2 roller banners to great effect. That means you can have multiple sets of graphic panels, unique to each event, without having to buy more hardware. If you're really clever, or you need to be frugal, you can design the artwork so that two of the three panels remain generic (or constant) and only the third is context-sensitive.
The Lumos light tower is also emblazoned with your artwork, as is the wraparound graphic on the counter. So these elements can change as you reuse your stand hardware too, only ever costing you the price of the new graphic panels if you need them. All in all, this means that buying the XpoKit is a solid investment, ready to change or update with your future needs.
Irrespective of changing graphics, the hardware and graphic panels are all resilient enough to perform over many shows. This kind of reusability is not always guaranteed with inferior products, so cheap or basic options can be a false economy. Everything about our ensemble is built to last. In fact, we plumped for Link2 as the banner system of choice for the XpoKit because the retractable spool in the cassette base offers that extra layer of protection to the graphic panel for increased longevity.
The reusability of the XpoKit is one of the main reasons that it represents good value. But even if your idea of reusing the kit only extends to multiple shows with the same graphic panels, we can still offer considerable savings over buying these items of hardware separately.
Initial impressions have been very positive within the trade and our existing customer base, so we are able to add value through economies of scale. Unfortunately, this does mean limiting some of the options that might normally be available; the Link2 roller banners are only available at 2000mm height, the light tower is the Lumos Mini and there is no flexibility on the counter and literature stand options.
But those restricted options are also vital in achieving the portability for this ensemble, allowing us to offer it in a more lightweight case, which in turn increases its portability yet further.
Finally, the XpoKit is specifically designed for single-person installs. There's no need for tools or specialist knowledge, so you'll be able to transport, install, dismantle, maintain and update your kit without incurring the expense of outside help.

We're planning more curated kits for the near future. In fact we'd love to tell you about them right now, but the information remains highly classified, so we'd have to kill you. And that's not great for PR, so please be patient and watch this space...
