MGS approached us to manage their outdoor event at the Geotechnica show, requiring an outdoor consultation area with an overall strong presence.
Brief
Our brief was to create an attractive outdoor display that showcased products and services from both MGS (Marton Geotechnical Services) and also one of their suppliers, Fraste Drilling Rigs. All this needed to be done within a very tight time frame.
Solution
A functional consultation area was required within the outdoor space to serve as a sales office and shelter throughout the event.
We sourced and hired a 5m trailer which included a sofa, mood lighting and drink-making facilities. Customising the trailer, we clad the sides and doors in graphics, and suspended large PVC banners from the roof.
To zone off the drill rigs from competitors’ stands, outdoor 4m fabric banners were used. As part of our hire service, quality teak garden chairs and a table with parasol were required to create a secondary outdoor consultation area.
We worked with existing imagery from our client’s back-catalogue and incorporated elements of both company logos into the overall design. Our unified approach to the overall design didn’t look disjointed even though we were obliged to use two separate style guides.
Result
The event was a huge success for MGS and Fraste, compared to previous years. Their improved outdoor presence and marketing did not go unnoticed by customers or competitors and has helped them increase their market share.
