Dymatec had outgrown their old branding and contacted Rounded Edge Studio to develop a new and comprehensive brand identity for both their company and product lines.
Brief
Dymatec were developing larger contracts and needed a new identity to reflect their business growth potential. Their previous literature was not consistent and lacked professional focus and quality.
Solution
We developed a logo that reflected the main core of their business – professional saws and diamond drilling. The new logo was created with precise cut lines segmenting the logo representing the sawing element of their business. Simple contrasting colours were chosen to ensure their new identity really stood out in comparison to their competitors within their market place.
The logo was designed to use the diamond shape on its own or as an icon focused across all Dymatec literature. A pattern was produced from the diamond that could be used independently or as a mask for imagery. As well as the main brand, we created sub-brands for their own diamond cutting consumables and for the equipment hire side of their business.
We created a strong, clean and clear brand identity for Dymatec that has helped them quickly re-establish themselves as a market leader in their field of expertise. We have also implemented this new brand on a custom build exhibition stand and more recently we have produced new price lists for their own brand consumables as well as a comprehensive 112 page brochure.
