This was an exercise in creativity within the boundaries of brand guidelines, as we designed Ctrack’s new vehicle liveries.

Brief

Ctrack is a division of Digicore holdings, one of the world’s largest vehicle tracking companies. A recent large investment culminated in a fleet of company vehicles that required new liveries.

The main focus of the brief was to promote the Ctrack brand whilst keeping the design adaptable enough to work for a wide range of vehicles from different countries.

Solution

We began by looking at the use of the logo to create maximum impact and consistency over different makes and models of vehicles. Working within brand guidelines, we experimented with various secondary colours for text in relation to the size and positioning of the logo.

Ultimately, we developed an idea of using an image to create a generic theme across the fleet. In keeping with the company brand, we decided the ‘C’ from the logo would be positioned on the bonnet and sides of the vehicle.

We colour-matched vinyl to the exact specifications from the brand guidelines. To increase longevity, we used materials with a 5 year guarantee. The design was rolled out for a fleet of VW Caddy vans throughout the UK. The new liveries have helped to increase Ctrack’s presence as a market leader.
