Greg Shaw

Studio design manager

Fundamental flair

What can we say about our Studio Manager? Charismatic, charming, debonair? No, we can't say those things. What seems to be more appropriate would be determined, stubborn, strong-minded, which turn out to be great traits for a creative studio manager. The studio’s goals have always been to achieve the very best for our clients, which has come from Greg’s determined approach to excellence.

A classic-style graphic designer, Greg has worked in the industry since the millennium, a time when Apple's boxes were as beige as IBM's and the only game your phone had was snake. Throughout his career, he has embraced the altering world around him to find that the key to good design is not in the whistles and bangs, but in the strong fundamentals of typography and design.

When he’s not being a stubborn fool, he’s also a proud husband and father of three great kids who are everything to him. With the dedication to keep pushing his creative goals, Greg sees the importance of tasking himself to further widen his skills. Which is why recently he has initiated a daily portrait challenge in his spare time, trying to improve his skills with portraiture, which can be seen on instagram at mypencillife.
